Kudos

Today, for the first time, I visited the 9/11 memorial in downtown Manhattan. The planners, architects, and other involved parties in the construction of the memorial should be very proud of their work. Somber, reflective, and yet thankfully devoid of jingoism and nationalistic bullshit. Just…tasteful.

    1. Yeah, it’s two massive waterfalls that drop even further down into a hole in the middle (the size of the original WTC’s foundations).

      But the 9/11 Museum itself hasn’t opened yet.
